Job summary

Legion Technical Solutions is seeking an Electrical Engineer III – Test Equipment in Tucson, AZ to support aerospace and defense clients. This hands-on role covers the full lifecycle of test system development—from design and integration to troubleshooting and deployment.

You will work with modern test instrumentation in engineering labs and production environments, coordinating with cross-functional teams while balancing performance, cost, and schedule constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 5+ years of relevant experience, or advanced STEM degree with 3+ years.
• Experience with factory/lab electronic test instrumentation (oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMMs, network analyzers).
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics and troubleshoot hardware.
• Experience with analog, digital, and RF design at subsystem or system level.

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate test system hardware, interface assemblies, and cabling.
• Develop engineering and production test solutions, including schematics and circuit analysis.
• Perform analog, digital, mixed-signal, and RF test system design and integration.
• Troubleshoot hardware, test instrumentation, and Factory Test Platform solutions.
• Coordinate electrical design and integration with cross-functional teams.
• Balance technical performance with project cost and schedule commitments.
