Raytheon in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Electrical Engineer II with 1+ year of hands-on multi-discipline experience to join the Test Equipment Directorate. This onsite role focuses on designing interfaces, selecting test instruments, and developing test systems for Raytheon products, contributing to cost and schedule management within a collaborative engineering team.

Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance and be a U.S. citizen.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Requires theoretical knowledge typically obtained through University Degree. Limited to some knowledge of RTX organization.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and integrate Raytheon test products within Test Equipment in multidiscipline engineering teams.
• Develop both engineering and production test systems, test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawing creation, schematic creation, circuit design and analysis.
• Contribute to the completion of all stages of test product development, and responsible for performing technical, cost and schedule management of assigned projects.
• Act, either as a part of the team or independently, to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of test products.
