Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer to join the Hardware Test Engineering team. The role focuses on planning, designing, executing, and documenting tests for electrical systems and components, with emphasis on fixtures, automation, and safety certification testing.

Responsibilities include developing test strategies, reducing cycle time, and improving product quality in collaboration with hardware, software, and regulatory teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with prototyping and implementation.
• 4+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Experience developing test strategies and plans for complex hardware/software systems or systems of systems.
• Experience in hardware design and validation of components, subsystems and systems.
• Experience in hardware lab equipment such as digital scopes, logic analyzers, and soldering tools.
• Experience designing test fixtures, automated controls, and wiring schematics.
• Experience with test plan development, building the necessary test bench infrastructure, developing tests and verifying the design.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, execute, and document testing of electrical systems and components.
• Design fixtures and test automation to improve cycle time and product quality.
• Collaborate with hardware, regulatory & compliance, and program management teams to define test strategies.
• Develop and execute test plans and reports to verify adherence to requirements.
• Guide continuous process improvement and implement new test solutions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to solve problems and implement new solutions.
