Job summary

Amazon Robotics is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer II to join the Hardware Test Engineering team. The role focuses on planning, designing, executing, and documenting testing of electrical systems and components for next-generation robotic platforms.

The candidate will develop fixtures, automate tests, and pursue safety certification testing while driving improvements in automation, cycle time, and product quality across projects. Occasional travel to lab facilities is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with prototyping and implementation.
• 4+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Experience developing test strategies and plans for complex hardware/software systems or systems of systems.
• Experience in hardware design and validation of components, subsystems and systems.
• Experience in hardware lab equipment such as digital scopes, logic analyzers, and soldering tools.
• Experience designing test fixtures, automated controls, and wiring schematics.
• Experience with test plan development, building the necessary test bench infrastructure, developing tests and verifying the design.

Responsibilities

• Work with hardware development, regulatory & compliance, program management, and other hardware test team members.
• Draw upon electrical test engineer experience, critical thinking, and problem solving to create reliable systems.
• Be receptive to new concepts, multi-task effectively, and be a strong team player.
• Drive continuous process improvement and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new solutions.
• Develop test plans, fixtures, and execution strategies with cross-functional partners.
• Produce test reports and ensure traceability of results.
