Job summary

Amazon RDPI Global Engineering Hardware is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer II to join the Hardware Test Engineering team. This role involves creating and executing system-level test plans, developing reusable automation, and mentoring junior QA engineers across North America and Europe.

The position requires strong collaboration with hardware, controls, and software teams to ensure quality throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience.
• Experience in automation testing.
• Experience as QA lead on medium to large projects.
• Experience with automated test frameworks like Selenium or Appium.

Responsibilities

• Create, execute, and optimize comprehensive test plans for system-level functional verification (L1) scenarios.
• Design reusable, reliable test solutions (scripts, tools, automation).
• Assess testability and identify salient test cases with traceability to use cases.
• Develop test plans including non-functional areas (performance, load, scalability, usability).
• Define test requirements, blockers, and mitigate quality risks proactively.
• Mentor and develop junior QAEs and participate in design reviews and bug triage.
