Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Test Engineer II (Electrical) for Launch Ops to perform hands-on testing and maintenance of ground support equipment and electrical instrumentation for launch operations at Space Coast, FL.

You will translate engineering requirements into repeatable test procedures, collaborate with design, quality, and supply chain teams, and contribute to safety and reliability initiatives to enable high cadence launch readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years with test teams as a fluids test engineer or equivalent hands-on role.
• Experience with electrical equipment: electronics, transducers, PLCs, and software.
• Ability to read schematics and P&IDs.
• 1+ year developing English work instructions or test procedures.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Maintain launch facility components to support activities.
• Translate engineering requirements into robust test and maintenance procedures.
• Collaborate with design, QA, supply chain, and production teams.
• Develop and maintain test documentation and inspection plans.
• Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO 9001 safety standards.
