Electrical Test Engineer II
Description
About This Role

We believe people should love what they do. In this role, you will be responsible for:

Responsibilities
  • Provide test engineering support to identify and develop necessary test equipment, fixtures, and facilities in accordance with customer specifications and requirements for both next-generation technologies and proven platforms that support and protect our deployed warfighter.
  • Gather and analyze requirements based on engineering design documentation.
  • Interface with product development and systems teams to determine appropriate test strategies and coverage for functional requirements.
  • Perform daily responsibilities including researching and developing electrical design concepts, performing performance calculations, and supporting lab testing and troubleshooting.
  • Grow your electrical engineering expertise in areas such as analog and digital circuits, cable design, and debugging electrical assemblies.
  • Conduct data collection activities, including setting up and operating high-speed cameras, telemetry systems, onboard instrumentation, and data recorders.
  • Develop aspects of test stations utilizing state-of-the-art PXI, LAN, USB, and other instrumentation in automated parametric measurement contexts.
  • Utilize scripting languages for programming low-level instrumentation for measurements gathering.
  • Assist with designing, developing, and documenting test equipment for new and existing electronic products and transition this equipment to Production Test Engineering.
  • Author process, test, documentation, and calibration procedures suitable for all audiences.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
  • Active Secret clearance preferred; Secret eligibility required.
