Job Description - Electrical Test Engineer II (331292)

About This Role

We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for:

Responsibilities
  • Provide test engineering support to identify and develop necessary test equipment, fixtures, and facilities in accordance with customer specifications and requirements for both next generation technologies and proven platforms that support and protect our deployed warfighter.
  • Gather requirements and analyze based on engineering design documentation.
  • Interface with product development and systems teams to determine appropriate test strategies and coverage for functional requirements.
  • Perform daily responsibilities including researching and developing electrical design concepts, performance calculations, and providing hands-on support for lab testing and troubleshooting.
  • Grow electrical engineering expertise in areas such as analog and digital circuits, cable design, and debugging electrical assemblies.
  • Conduct data collection activities, including setup and operation of high-speed cameras, telemetry systems, onboard instrumentation, and data recorders.
  • Develop test stations utilizing state-of-the-art PXI, LAN, USB, and other instrumentation, focusing on automated parametric measurements.
  • Utilize scripting languages to program low-level instrumentation for measurements gathering.
  • Assist with designing, developing, and documenting test equipment for new and existing electronic products, and support their transition to production test engineering.
  • Author process, test, documentation, and calibration procedures suitable for all audiences.
  • Maintain strong written and verbal communication skills and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a minimum of 2+ years of related experience.
