Job summary

SAIC is hiring a Senior Electronics Technician in Crane, IN, to provide hands-on support for CUAS test and evaluation. You will handle threat devices, RF systems, and unmanned aircraft components, traveling to field locations as needed.

The role requires 10+ years in electronics support, the ability to obtain necessary licenses, and a Secret Interim clearance. On-site work with field testing and logistics coordination is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of electronics support, testing and maintenance experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required training, licensing and clearances.
• Obtain and maintain Part 107 drone pilot license for test events.
• Willingness to travel 25% CONUS/OCONUS for test events.
• Eligible for Secret Interim clearance to start.

Responsibilities

• Support threat device operations: configuration, readiness verification, staging and inventory control.
• Serve as UAS pilot or support technician for CUAS test events and obtain required qualifications.
• Configure, operate, troubleshoot and maintain RF and electronic test equipment.
• Test, repair RF systems, electronic assemblies, cables, modules, and antennas.
• Assist with target logistics, instrumentation, data collection, and field readiness.
