SAIC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support test activities for a team of engineers and programmers involved in aircraft and military systems. The position is onsite in Indianapolis, IN and requires a Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 2+ years of experience or Master's with zero+ years.
• Experience with requirements generation, management, allocation, tracking and verification.
• Background with electronic power systems, communications protocols, RF systems, sensor systems and embedded electronic assemblies.
• Background in troubleshooting embedded software and electronic components on CCAs.
• Experience with developmental and qualification testing of embedded systems, including test planning, setup and execution.

SAIC is seeking a well-rounded Electrical Engineer to support test activities for a team of EEs, MEs, programmers and other project personnel involved in delivering concepts and products related to aircraft and other military systems. The candidate will directly support Government program(s) as a test engineer throughout the entire program lifecycle. This position will be onsite at our facility in Indianapolis, IN.

Job Duties

• The candidate will focus on testing at the Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) level.
• Candidate will analyze CCA designs and will design tests to fully verify functionality of the CCAs.
• Candidate will design test hardware and write code as needed to test and troubleshoot CCAs and the resident embedded software (SW) and firmware (FW).
• Candidate will interpret test results and will work with other engineers to improve CCA, SW, and FW designs.
• Candidate is expected to possess excellent communication skills to interface to multi-disciplinary design team as well as customers.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE

• Bachelors degree in relevant engineering discipline and two (2) years or more experience, or Masters degree and zero (0) years or more experience.
• Experience with requirements generation, management, allocation, tracking, and verification.
• Background with electronic power systems, communications protocols, RF systems, sensor systems, and other embedded electronic assemblies.
• Background in troubleshooting embedded SW and electronic components on CCAs.
• Background in developmental and qualification testing of embedded systems, to include test planning, documentation, set up, and execution
• Must be U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to obtain a DOD Secret security clearance.

Desired Experience

• Experience with Labview and test stands.
• Experience with design and implementation of BIT in electronic systems.
• Strong background in product design review processes, to include preparation of review documentation and products, and presentation of material in a structured development environment (i.e. defense, medical, automotive, etc…)
• Experience with military organizational, intermediate, depot and factory acceptance level test and test equipment
• Experience with military QA and Change Management requirements.
• Experience with DoD weapons integration, aircraft systems and weapons control and delivery systems and associated test equipment
• Already possess military security clearance at the Secret or above level.

Target salary range $60,001 - $100,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
