Job summary

Anduril Industries in Irvine, CA seeks an Electrical Engineer, Manufacturing Test to help ensure our electromagnetic warfare systems meet stringent testing standards and throughputs. You will own production test flow, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive automation, data analytics, and UI improvements.

Collaborating with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing teams, you’ll develop test procedures, train technicians, analyze data, and contribute to early-stage test design for NPI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience with emphasis on manufacturing test and product sustainment
• Familiarity with Linux, Ubuntu, LabVIEW, and NixOS
• Experience with contract manufacturers in the testing of PCBA/electronic assemblies
• Familiarity with electronics test equipment such as power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscope, function generators, spectrum analyzers, data acquisition and measurement sensors
• Strong root cause analysis skills of non-conforming hardware
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and communication skills
• familiar with Product Life Cycle (PLM) systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and Test Execution Systems (TES)
• Experience working on projects that involve the integration of electrical, mechanical, and software/firmware systems
• Ability to obtain and maintain US DoD clearance

Responsibilities

• Own production test flow and troubleshooting to resolve complex issues
• Maintain test capabilities across the manufacturing value stream from system level to process validation
• Improve and sustain test systems for automation, consistency, and test coverage
• Generate test work instructions and train technicians
• Develop library of common failure modes and RCCA guidance
• Provide feedback to Design, Quality, and Manufacturing on failures and improvements
• Collaborate on tests for NPI and early-stage products
• Analyze test data and generate reports identifying defects and improvement areas
• Collaborate with design engineers on product enhancements based on test results
• Optimize test strategies to reduce time while maintaining quality
• Calibrate and maintain test equipment for precision
• Support continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies
• Execute testing as required
