Job summary

Mainspring Energy, Inc is seeking a well-organized electrical technician to diagnose and repair electronics, install new equipment, and implement electrical upgrades at our Menlo Park HQ. The role requires reading work instructions, running software, and testing equipment on production lines.

You will collaborate with Failure Analysis, Inventory, and Supply Chain, follow safety procedures, and use tools like drivers, torque wrenches, and wire crimpers.

Qualifications

• Three to five years electrical technician experience.
• Hands-on ability to detect defects/repair in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using hand tools like drivers, torque wrenches and wire crimpers.
• Technical computer system knowledge such as using Google or MS Office and Terminal/Command lines to run tests.
• Vocational certificate or equivalent preferred.
• Strong verbal & written communication skills demonstrated in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Failure Analysis, Inventory management, and Supply Chain across issues/corrective actions.
• Follow procedures for assembly, installation, testing, and troubleshooting of production components.
• Execute timely corrective action to mitigate and contain quality issues while the production line is active.
• Interpret drawings and work instructions to perform duties.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear PPE.
