Job summary

Mainspring Energy, Inc. is seeking a well-organized electrical technician to diagnose and repair electronics, install new equipment, and perform tests on production components at the Menlo Park HQ onsite.

You will follow procedures, interpret drawings, collaborate with Failure Analysis, Inventory, and Supply Chain, and ensure safety with proper PPE. The role offers exposure to cutting-edge fuel-flexible power solutions and opportunities with a growing team.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years electrical technician experience.
• Visually detect electrical defects and repair them in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using Google or MS Office and using Terminal/Command lines to run tests.
• Vocational certificate or equivalent preferred.
• Strong verbal & written communication in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Failure Analysis, Inventory management, and Supply Chain across a wide variety of issues/corrective actions identified in production, field service, testing & inspection.
• Follow established procedures for the assembly, installation, testing, and troubleshooting of production components.
• Execute timely corrective action to mitigate and contain quality issues while the production line is active, minimizing downtime.
• Interpret drawings and work instructions to perform duties.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear the appropriate PPE.

Company Overview

We are searching for a well-organized, reliable electrical technician to join our growing team. They will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electronics, reading work instructions, installing new equipment, and implementing electrical upgrades. You will run software, as well as set up hardware and use browser based apps to perform tests and run equipment.

Responsbilities

• Collaborate with various teams including Failure Analysis, Inventory management, and Supply Chain across a wide variety of issues/corrective actions that are identified in production, field service, testing & inspection

• Follow established procedures for the assembly, installation, testing, and troubleshooting of production components

• Execute timely corrective action to mitigate and contain quality issues while the production line is active, minimizing downtime

• Interpret drawings and work instructions to perform duties

• Follow all safety procedures and wear the appropriate PPE

Qualifications

• Preferred three to five years electrical technician experience

• Demonstrated hands on ability to visually detect electrical defects/non-conformances of materials, determine solutions, and repair them in a fast-paced environment

• Experience using hand tools like drivers, torque wrenches and wire crimpers

• Demonstrated technical computer system knowledge such as using Google or MS office software and using Terminal/Command lines to run tests

• Vocational certificate or equivalent preferred

• Strong verbal & written communication skills demonstrated in a team environment

$32 - $38 an hour

This position is onsite at our Menlo Park HQ. The hourly rate will be adjusted to reflect local market conditions based on employee location as well as the experience of the employee. Along with the base hourly, Mainspring offers pre-IPO stock options + benefits + bonus.
