Qualifications

• Education and certifications listed: high school diploma/GED or equivalent and additional credentials as alternative pathways.
• Associate degree or trade certificate with relevant experience required.
• DOL certification or equivalent credentials considered.
• Experience troubleshooting machinery including CNC and assembly equipment; PLC-driven circuits and controls.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe work habits and evaluate reactive work for safety issues.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment and hand tools.
• Follow NEC, NFPA 70E, and Cummins standards for electrical systems 600 V and below.
• Plan, install, troubleshoot electrical and communication wiring, breakers, equipment, and conduit.
• Support customer needs with plant electrical distribution knowledge and software systems.
• Prepare drawings and follow blueprints for wiring locations while complying with codes.
• Communicate technical information to customers and train staff and apprentices.
• Participate in improvement projects and complete work with minimal supervision.
