Job summary

Jabil in Memphis is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Technician to support wiring and basic electrical installation tasks. Responsibilities include point-to-point wiring, reading detailed instructions, and ensuring quality and safety standards in a shop/industrial environment.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to lift up to 35 pounds, and comfort working on ladders up to six feet. Shift: Fri–Sun, with differential; PPE required and data entry tasks may be involved.

Qualifications

• Experience with point-to-point wiring and basic electrical assembly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly and work on ladders up to 6 feet.

Responsibilities

• Perform point-to-point wiring and electrical assembly using hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic equipment
• Read and follow detailed work instructions and production guidelines
• Ensure accurate wire routing, terminations, and secure connections
• Inspect components and completed work to verify quality and compliance with specifications
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work environment
• Safely operate equipment while following all workplace safety procedures
• Perform light computer work, including data entry, reporting, and documentation of completed tasks
• Work on ladders up to 6 feet as required
