Job summary

Jabil is seeking a hands-on assembler to work with Manufacturing staff to fulfill customer requirements through mechanical assembly and wiring tasks. You will follow safety, quality, and customer specifications while collaborating with teammates to organize multi-person tasks.

Responsibilities include pulling, crimping, installing and testing wiring harnesses, maintaining part inventory knowledge, and performing routine tool replacements as scheduled.

Qualifications

• 1+ years background in mechanical assemblies and electrical wiring.
• Ability to read and understand visual aid.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Reads and comprehends simple instructions and memos.

Responsibilities

• Assembles finished units per customer specifications.
• Coordinates with teammates to organize tasks requiring multiple team members.
• Pull, crimp, install, and test wiring and wiring harnesses.
• Keeps inventory personnel abreast of spare parts inventory and locations.
• Follows safety and health rules and adheres to 5S standards.
