Job summary
Nucor Tubular Products-Marseilles is seeking an Electrical Technician to support maintenance and operations by performing routine preventive, breakdown, and upgrade tasks to improve production equipment during normal hours. The role requires troubleshooting, safety compliance, and willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime.
Minimum qualifications include 2+ years in industrial electrical maintenance, PLC experience, motor drives knowledge, and AutoCAD ability.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
- Experience troubleshooting and modifying PLC programming.
- Experience replacing and installing AC/DC motor drives.
- Experience with Servo Motors and Controls.
- Knowledge of NFPA 70E and LOTOTO.
- Ability to use AutoCAD to update prints.
Responsibilities
- Provide routine preventative and breakdown maintenance on production equipment.
- Repair calls, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Install upgrades and ensure safety policies are followed.
- Work flexible shifts, overtime, rotating/off shifts.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations to reduce downtime.
