Nucor is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to help drive continuous improvements in production tracking, process efficiency, and plant automation. This role requires hands-on electrical and mechanical repair, troubleshooting, and collaboration with production teams.

Responsibilities include wiring schematics interpretation, repair of automated equipment, and ensuring safety practices. The position demands adaptability to rotating shifts and willingness to travel for training across NTS

Qualifications

• Two-year electrical or mechanical degree or equivalent industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and industrial controls preferred.
• Ability to travel for training and site alignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs to shop equipment and tools.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems with multi-meter.
• Repair equipment with production personnel and read electrical schematics.
• Install, maintain, and upgrade automation systems in production.
