Job summary

Boston Scientific Corporation is seeking an Electrical/Manufacturing Technician to support electrical and electronic engineering activities in a manufacturing environment. You will work with engineers on set-up, calibration, testing, and process improvements to produce parts and assemblies.

The role follows an onsite work model, with in-depth safety requirements and potential for calibration maintenance tasks and mentorship of less experienced technicians.

Qualifications

• 3 years with AA degree or an equivalent combination of education/work experience.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, debugs, modifies, tests, builds, assembles electrical circuits and systems, circuitry, test equipment, prototypes from schematics and written/verbal instructions.
• Documents, tests, evaluates, analyzes, verifies electrical development systems, circuits, prototypes and components per procedures and standards.
• Tracks and troubleshoots electrical development efforts; maintains records in the tracking tool and solves problems.
• Observes and complies with safety rules and ISO/QSE standards, including ESD principles.
• Participates in MRB decisions and complies with Boston Scientific quality requirements.
• Performs routine and complex equipment setup; maintains calibration and spares to improve uptime.
