Job summary

Boston Scientific Corporation seeks a manufacturing technician to perform setup, calibration, rework, and quality testing for parts and assemblies. You will work with engineers to develop methods for controlling the manufacturing process and conduct on-line adjustments to products and equipment.

This onsite role requires five-day in-office presence in the Minneapolis area, with shift time 2:00pm–10:30pm. Minimum high school degree and at least two years of relevant experience are required;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years relevant manufacturing experience required.
• Preferred: manufacturing troubleshooting, electrical testing, PCBA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Observes and complies with safety rules (QSR/ISO).
• Performs equipment setup and routine maintenance (corrective, preventive, calibration).
• Installs and validates equipment and processes to improve yield and reduce cycle time.
• Identifies and fixes manufacturing issues with corrective actions.
• Evaluates operating data for on-line adjustments to products/equipment; may revise docs/procedures.
• Certifies manufacturing associates in production processes.
• Evaluates and orders necessary equipment, tools, fixtures.
• Participates in MRB decision process.
