Job summary

FUJIFILM Biotechnologies in Holly Springs, NC seeks a Technician 2, Electrician to operate, maintain, and optimize plant electrical systems, including MV switchgear, transformers, and LV panels. The role supports 24/7 operations of a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

The position requires reading schematics, applying electrical safety protocols, and collaborating with engineering, operations, and construction teams to ensure reliability and compliance.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret design schematics for electrical systems & equipment.
• Ability to implement Electrical Safety protocols in an industrial environment.
• Effective communication, both written and oral.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to support 24/7 manufacturing facility, including shift, on-call and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with startup of electrical gear including Low/Medium Voltage switchgear, MCCs, PDPs, UPS and panels.
• Review redline drawings for electrical systems.
• Interface with engineering, operations and construction teams.
• Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical systems.
• Interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Contribute to maintenance program development and safety equipment selection.
• Collaborate with procurement for electrical supplies and equipment.
• Support site operations and emergency work orders as needed.
