Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Tech III - IGX Rears for the 2nd shift at our Greenwood, SC location. The role involves assembling, wiring, and modifying complex assemblies used in high voltage equipment, with the first 90 days on first shift training. The job offers a $20.94 per hour base rate plus a $1.00 shift differential and eligible variable pay incentives.

Core hours are Monday–Thursday 4:30 pm–1:30 am and Friday 3:30 pm–7:30 pm. Training on first shift is provided during the initial period.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
1 year of assembly experience.
Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position.
No relocation benefit is being offered; only candidates within a 50-mile radius will be considered; active-duty military exempt.

Responsibilities

Assemble, wire, fit, and modify complicated assemblies in medium/high voltage equipment.
Fill out ISO, quality, and production checklists as required.
Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wire operations.
Regularly lift and assemble heavy copper parts.
Maintain Kanban inventory levels and report shortages.
Inspect assemblies for loose hardware and cleanliness.
Respond to change notices and customer-driven development needs.
Work from engineering drawings and procedures to established standards.
