Job Overview

The Electrical Technician II performs intermediate-to-advanced electrical tasks, requiring a solid knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team on installation, maintenance, and repair projects.

Responsibilities

1. Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in accordance with NEC and local codes.
2. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
3. Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostic testing on electrical equipment.
4. Work independently or under supervision to complete tasks efficiently.
5. Ensure safety compliance, including PPE use and lockout/tagout procedures.
6. Identify material needs, pull wire, bend conduit, and make proper terminations.
7. Mentor and guide team members as needed.
8. Maintain accurate records of work performed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3-5 years of experience in electrical installation, service, or maintenance.
• Knowledge of NEC and local codes.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Proficient with electrical tools and testing equipment.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
