Job summary

Entegris, Inc. in San Luis Obispo, CA is hiring an Electrical Technician I for the 1st shift. You will wire panels, lay out components, install cables and harnesses, and follow detailed schematics to build ultra high purity systems.

Candidates with a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of electrical assembly experience are encouraged to apply. Some lifting and weekend overtime may be required to support operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of experience in electrical assembly or basic experience in electrical assembly.

Responsibilities

• Wire panels following schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Layout components on electrical panels per drawings.
• Assemble point-to-point wiring, cable and harness installation.
• Learn engineering specs to ensure quality and timely production.
• Support 6S activities (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain, safety).
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure on-time shipments.
• Operate safely and follow instructions; learn measuring techniques and tool care.
• Collaborate with team and work independently when needed.
