Job summary
Chobani is seeking Electrical Technicians to execute plant electrical projects and perform timely maintenance on advanced manufacturing equipment. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical breakdowns, implement new electrical installs per NEC/NFPA standards, and follow GMPs and environmental rules.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment (Allen-Bradley, Siemens), maintaining coffee roasting, grinding, conveying, packaging, and brewing lines, and supporting
Qualifications
- 3–5 years in food production/manufacturing maintenance.
- Experience troubleshooting filling, packaging, and processing equipment.
- Familiarity with NFPA standards and safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled production equipment (Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
- Repair and perform preventive maintenance on coffee roasting, grinding, packaging lines.
- Support electrical systems including silos, conveyors, dust collection, and pumps.
- Read electrical schematics, P&IDs, and ladder logic to diagnose issues.
- Follow NFPA 70, 70E, 70B and company safety standards.
