Job summary

Staffmark Group in Elgin, IL is seeking an Electrical Technician for a direct hire position. You will assemble and wire panels, install components and read schematics to support production.

The role requires experience with panel assembly, machine wiring, soldering, and interpreting drawings; high school diploma required with associate or bachelor’s preferred. Competitive pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Education as listed: HS diploma required; associate degree preferred; bachelor’s degree a plus.
• Experience with electrical panel assembly, machine wiring, troubleshooting, and interpreting schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire electrical panels, control cabinets, and subassemblies.
• Install electrical and electromechanical components per drawings.
• Route, label and connect wiring to meet specifications.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Perform soldering, testing, troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
• Diagnose wiring issues, component failures and electrical malfunctions.
• Collaborate with engineers on assemblies, prototypes, and problem-solving.
• Complete production documentation and maintain quality standards.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and workmanship.
