The role focuses on diagnosing issues, wiring, and maintaining safety standards while collaborating with a team. Second shift is available with overtime opportunities on Fridays.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical & mechanical systems.
• High voltage experience is a plus.
• Experience with PLC, ladder logic, AC/DC systems, and reading engineering documents/schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair Hybrid Drive systems, electrical components, and related networks.
• Inspect and diagnose electrical issues using basic electrical theory and diagnostic tools.
• Interpret blueprints, process sheets, schematics and instructions for repairs.

Seeking candidates for our second shift, work schedule is Monday - Thursday 3:00 pm - 1:30 am. There may be overtime opportunities available on Friday. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Install and repair various Hybrid Drive systems, communication networks, and electrical components Inspect and diagnose electrical systems issues using advanced electrical theory, PLC and ladder logic Interpret blueprints, process sheets, schematics and instructions for appropriate repairs and process Maintain clean and safe work practices with electrical systems by adhering to safety policies, procedures, and processes Inspect and communicate issues that arise in the required quality checkout Document work and results with support of various software programs including, Microsoft Office Suite, Internet browsers, and diagnostic applications Install and repair electrical control components such as resistors, diodes and relays) Expand knowledge of technical and maintenance principles including how to perform work around high voltage systems (200+ volts) New Flyer is an EEO/AA/Female/Minority/Disabled/Vets Employer.
