Ascendion is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead wearables electrical engineering hardware projects. You will coordinate across engineering, operations, and vendor teams to ensure programs meet scope, quality, schedule, and budget goals.

In this role, you will oversee overseas contract manufacturers, drive OK to Fab milestones, and manage complex schedules with risk and issue tracking. This position is onsite in Redmond, WA or Sunnyvale, CA.

Competenze

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 3+ years of related experience.
  • Full lifecycle Technical Program Management experience overseeing hardware design through OK to Fab.
  • Electrical engineering experience interfacing with the electrical engineering team, scheduling milestones, and raising key issues and risks.
  • Experience managing overseas contract manufacturing vendors and overseeing program management.
  • Proven track record in cross-functional programs, managing complex schedules, risk management, and issue tracking.

About The Role:
  • We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to work on wearables electrical engineering hardware device project.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver programs within defined scope, quality, schedule, and budget constraints, navigating moderate-probability and moderate-impact risk factors
  • Lead cross-functional, multi-project initiatives requiring broad alignment and coordination across engineering, operations, and vendor teams
  • Manage overseas contract manufacturing vendors, interfacing with them and their engineering team, overseeing program management.
  • Oversee all phases from design through “OK to Fab,” including work with flexes, rigid boards, and hardware design processes.
  • Provide program-level strategic planning and partner with executive-level leadership for direction-setting and status communication.
  • Foster strong team collaboration, uphold accountability, and drive issue resolution.
  • Engage with vendors, ensuring expectations, schedules, and deliverables are clearly aligned and managed.
  • Lead scope definition, requirements gathering, documentation, and timeline estimation.
  • Manage creation and maintenance of build matrixes across multiple configurations.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 3+ years of related experience required
  • Full lifecycle Technical Program Management experience overseeing hardware design through “OK to Fab” (including flexes and rigid boards)
  • Electrical engineering experience, primarily interfacing with managing electrical engineering team, scheduling milestones, upleveling key issues & risks from the engineering team
  • Experience managing overseas contract manufacturing vendors, interfacing with them and their engineering team, overseeing program management.
  • Proven track record managing cross-functional programs, complex schedules, risk management frameworks, and bug/issue tracking in large organizations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or a related advanced degree preferred
  • PMP or PMI certification preferred

Location:Redmond, WA or Sunnyvale, CA [Onsite]

Salary Range:The salary for this position is between $135,000 – $208,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
