Job summary

Vantran-Industries,-Inc. seeks an Electrical Team Lead to oversee daily electrical integration, testing, and FAT for power skids, E-Houses, switchgear, transformers, RMUs, and control panels at Plant #3.

You will supervise Electrical Integrators and Test Technicians, ensuring work meets engineering drawings, customer specs, and safety standards. You will coordinate with the Electrical Test Engineer, Production, Quality, and Project Management to schedule activities, mentor staff, and drive

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum five (5) years of industrial electrical assembly, integration, or testing experience.
• Minimum two (2) years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, one-line diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Experience using electrical test instruments and troubleshooting electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily electrical integration and testing activities.
• Assign work and provide technical directions to Electrical Integrators and Test Technicians.
• Coordinate installation, wiring, termination, labeling, and verification of electrical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, schematics, and customer specifications.
• Lead electrical testing including continuity, insulation resistance (megger), DLRO/ground continuity, hi-pot, functional testing, relay verification, control system verification, power-up, and FAT.
• Review and approve test documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot electrical, control, and wiring issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Train, mentor, and develop team members while supporting employee onboarding.
• Promote and enforce all safety policies including LOTO, PPE, and electrical safe work practices.
• Coordinate activities with Electrical Test Engineer, Quality, Production, Purchasing, and Project Management.
• Maintain testing equipment and ensure calibration requirements are met.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, productivity, and first-pass yield.
• Assist with scheduling, manpower planning, and meeting production deadlines.
• Support customer Factory Acceptance Tests and resolve technical questions.
