Job summary

Riot Platforms Inc. seeks an Electrical Assistant Supervisor to support daily electrical maintenance at a mission-critical data center in Georgia.

This role leads and mentors Tier 1–3 technicians, performing hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting of generators, UPS, switchgear, transformers, and PDUs, and serves as the first escalation point for complex issues. The position enforces LOTO, arc-flash, NFPA 70E/70B safety standards; oversees contractors; maintains CMMS records; responds to alarms

Qualifications

• Completion of an electrical apprenticeship or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 4 years of commercial/industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Minimum 1 year as lead technician or crew chief.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assign daily work and prioritize open work orders; lead shift operations.
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on generators, UPS, switchgear, transformers, and PDUs.
• Review MOPs and safety checklists before work; verify switching steps and risks.
• Lead daily pre-job safety briefings; enforce LOTO and NFPA 70E; ensure arc-flash PPE.
• Escort and monitor outside contractors; ensure work meets standards.
• Maintain CMMS records; document inspections and run hours.
