The instructor delivers engaging classroom and laboratory instruction, integrates academic and employability skills, and fosters a safe, inclusive learning environment while aligning with Massachusetts CVTE Frameworks and licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical theory, wiring methods, electrical systems.
• Familiarity with CVTE Frameworks and licensure requirements.
• Ability to deliver engaging classroom and laboratory instruction.
• Commitment to safety regulations and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and deliver engaging classroom and laboratory instruction aligned with the Massachusetts DESE CVTE Frameworks.
• Teach electrical theory, safety procedures, NEC standards, and industry best practices for licensure and employment.
• Develop and implement lesson plans with demonstrations and hands-on activities.
• Create and maintain a safe, organized, and productive classroom and laboratory environment.
• Assess student learning and provide timely feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues, industry partners, families, and school staff to support student achievement.
• Maintain required licensure and participate in ongoing professional learning.
