Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Mountain View, CA is seeking an Electrical Systems Test Engineer to verify power generation, LV battery systems, and vehicle wiring across full vehicles and lab benches. You will set up physical lab benches, connect harness boxes, and execute predefined electrical tests, plus develop comprehensive test plans to diagnose noise, ground loops, and spikes.

Qualifications

Hands-on electrical verification of power systems and LV battery modules.
Knowledge reading schematics and operating lab instrumentation.
Experience with CANoe/CANalyzer, DAQ, Python/SCPI preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform hands-on electrical verification of power systems and LV battery modules across vehicles.
Set up lab benches, connect harness boxes, and execute predefined electrical tests.
Create and run electrical stress tests for LV battery modules, power rails, and actuators.
Collaborate on assembling electrical test platforms using power supplies and scopes.
Develop electrical test plans and diagnose noise, ground loops, brownouts, and spikes.
