Job summary

TerraPower, based in Bellevue, WA, seeks a Supplier Project Engineer for the Supply Chain team. This remote-friendly role supports the Natrium project with supplier project management, oversight, and coordination with Contract Administrator and technical teams.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in supplier oversight, a technical engineering degree, and strong change-management and communication skills to drive successful supplier performance and contract deliverables.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, nuclear, systems, or civil engineering is required.
• 10+ years of experience in supplier oversight.
• PMP certification preferred or equivalent training.
• Experience with manufacturing oversight (3–5 years) desired.
• Knowledge of manufacturing travelers, welding, and related processes.
• Experience defining supplier work scopes including SOWs and RFPs.
• Proven ability to manage supplier projects in design/manufacturing environments.
• Experience supporting contractual/commercial aspects of customer/supplier relationships.
• Strong ability to interface with engineering groups for reviews.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supplier performance management and provide project oversight.
• Apply project-management tools to monitor cost, schedule, and submittals.
• Coordinate with internal teams to align with contract and technical direction.
• Develop statements of work (SOWs) and project plans for supplier projects.
• Lead supplier selection activities for RFPs and bid/award phases.
• Direct supplier project deliverables with Contract Administrator oversight.
• Manage technical interfaces between supplier projects and TerraPower teams.
• Support contract administration and commercial activities as needed.
• Oversee submittal reviews and ensure timely, proper responses.
• Monitor supplier capabilities and relationships to inform Natrium.
• Coordinate supplier visits and ongoing vendor oversight.
