Job summary

Dominion Energy is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to support transmission and distribution projects within the System Protection Engineering group. You will collaborate with experienced engineers on relay protection, coordination, logic design, and operational performance tasks.

This internship offers a hybrid schedule (3 days in the office, 2 days telework) and an hourly rate of $27.00–$29.00. Applicants must be full-time students in an ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering program

Qualifications

• Full-time student pursuing a 4-year ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree with expected graduation 2028 or 2029.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA, 3.3 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support transmission and distribution grid projects.
• Assist on relay protection, coordination, logic design and performance tasks.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers on automation-related assignments.
