Job summary

HTC Global Services is seeking a Product Engineer – Electrical/Electronic to support vehicle electrical systems and harness design in Chicago. You will lead containment actions, root-cause analysis, and coordinate with engineering teams throughout development and production launches.

The role focuses on low-voltage distribution, DFMEA resolution, and engineering changes, ensuring manufacturing readiness and quality improvements across the value stream.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience in system engineering and root cause analysis.
• Experience with low-voltage wiring and harness design.
• Familiarity with SAE/USCAR wiring standards and DFMEA.

Responsibilities

• Lead resolution of electrical design and quality issues, identifying root causes.
• Develop and release wiring harness designs for electrical distribution systems.
• Support DFMEA, manufacturing changes, and vehicle builds.
• Triage warranty and reliability issues; coordinate containment actions.
• Ensure manufacturing readiness for design changes and engineering releases.
• Review DTCs and plan corrective actions; participate in subsystem meetings.
