Job summary

HTC Global Services is seeking a Product Engineer specializing in Electrical/Electronic for exterior lighting systems. The role leads multidisciplinary engineering across mechanical, electrical, software, systems, and optical domains, supporting design, development, validation, and launch of exterior lighting components for vehicles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Software Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in automotive lighting design, development, or launch.
• Experience with automotive electronics software development and testing.
• Proficiency with CAN-based tools for system testing.
• Experience managing supplier deliverables and hardware/software interfaces.
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR standards, functional safety, and cybersecurity.
• CAD experience with CATIA/3DX/Teamcenter.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver lighting systems at the vehicle level.
• Validate interfaces for lighting components and system integration.
• Manage supplier deliverables and hardware/software interfaces.
• Write and validate embedded software for LIN/CAN networks and lighting functions.
• Develop schematics and select components for LED drivers and power regulation.
• Support architectural compliance and cybersecurity requirements.
• Perform thermal analysis, WCA, and electrical stress testing.
• Lead design reviews and develop ESOWs and DVP&Rs.
• Assist in sourcing activities, including cost reviews and tooling.
