Job summary

Otis in Bloomfield, CT is seeking a Systems (Electrical) Engineer to support integration and modernization across the NA MOD product portfolio. You will develop electrical and control system solutions that fit existing field conditions and safety codes.

You will collaborate with New Equipment centers, Supply Chain, Product Support, and field operations to translate requirements into actionable deliverables, validate designs, and drive robust integration across crews and sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 3–7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with multidisciplinary systems and modernization projects.
• Knowledge of electrical components, control systems, drives, and codes.

Responsibilities

• Support system integration for NA MOD products, including interfaces and subsystem interactions.
• Gather and decompose requirements for modernization applications and ensure code compliance.
• Assist validation activities, prototype testing, and performance assessments.
• Support engineering changes, ECNs, and release documentation.
• Contribute to investigations, root cause analysis, and DFMEA inputs.
• Collaborate with supply chain, operations, and global teams to deliver MOD solutions.
• Promote reuse and standardization of components across product lines.
