Job summary
Apollo Professional Solutions, Inc. seeks an Electronic System Design & Analysis Engineer in Hazelwood, MO. The role focuses on developing maintenance equipment, integrating hardware with aircraft subsystems, and delivering ready-for-test setups.
You will analyze requirements and translate them into system, hardware, and software designs while collaborating with customers. The position requires a BS in engineering and 3+ years in electrical avionics system design, with MBSE/DOORS and Cameo
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in engineering or related field.
- 3+ years familiarity with electrical avionics system design.
- Experience with VPX/VME form factor.
- Experience with RS422/RS232, TCP/IP & Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553 interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Hardware/software integration support.
- Design and documentation of electrical systems, components, interfaces.
- System schematic analysis and design.
- System requirements analysis and development.
- System selloff/verification.
- Develop electrical wiring for test articles & sub-assemblies.
- Support lab or flight test instrumentation and data acquisition.
- Selection of electrical hardware components.
- Installation support with lab test personnel.
- Support of lifecycle hardware/software issues.
- Use MBSE tools (DOORS, Cameo) for system definitions and trade studies.
