Job summary

Lanco Group of Companies in Hazel Crest, IL, is seeking a Software/Electrical/Electronic Engineering Manager to lead PASD and Software teams in the material handling division. You will drive design and development of electrical systems, power and signal distribution, PLC/HMI software, and machine controls across our product lines.

You will partner with Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Tech Support to prioritize work, manage resources, and ensure compliance, safety, and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering or related field.
• 10+ years engineering experience with electrical systems, power & signal distribution, PLC/HMI, and machine controls in heavy equipment.
• 5+ years of supervisory leadership experience.
• Experience with ECAD tools and PLC/HMI development familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver field-ready electrical solutions.
• Define scope, prioritize work, and balance engineering capacity across product lines.
• Provide technical leadership for electrical systems and machine controls.
• Review electrical schematics, wire harnesses, and ECAD outputs.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance of electrical systems.
• Lead new product introduction design efforts with schedule and quality focus.
