Job summary

Flex is seeking an Associate Principal Engineer, Electrical Engineering in Austin, TX to lead design, development, and lifecycle support of electrical systems for next‑gen AI and HPC infrastructure. You will define architectures, power distribution, controls, and interconnects, driving reliability and scalability across rack, cluster, and facility levels.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop electrical architectures for AI data center infrastructure platforms.
Design and validate power distribution systems for high-density compute environments.
Define electrical requirements, specifications, and validation plans.
Lead electrical analysis, simulation, troubleshooting, and complex system integration.
Collaborate with Systems Architecture, Mechanical, Software, and Manufacturing teams to deliver integrated platform solutions.
Support prototype builds, technology validation, and manufacturing readiness.
