Job summary

Flex is seeking a Principal Engineer, Advanced Power Engineering in Austin, TX to lead R&D and define architectures for next-generation data center power solutions supporting SpinCo.

The role blends hands-on design with technical leadership, driving multi-generation power technology roadmaps, prototyping, and co-engineering with cooling and IT systems to deliver scalable, productized power platforms for hyperscale environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in power electronics or data center power infrastructure.
• Proven leadership in architecture and engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Define multi-generation power technology roadmap for hyperscale needs.
• Lead R&D, architecture development, and prototype execution for power subsystems.
• Co-engineer power systems with cooling, controls, and IT infrastructure.
