Job summary

Darwin Recruitment in Chicago is seeking an experienced electrical construction professional to lead procurement and supply chain activities for critical data-center projects. You will review drawings, specs, RFIs and equipment schedules while coordinating with manufacturers and contractors to ensure timely long-lead procurement of switchgear, transformers, UPS and generators.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years in electrical construction, procurement, supply chain or MEP.
• Data center / mission-critical experience.
• Strong electrical equipment knowledge: switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators, MV/LV.
• Experience with long-lead procurement and vendor management.
• Able to review drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs and equipment schedules.
• Experience coordinating with manufacturers, electrical contractors and commissioning teams.
• Strong understanding of electrical installation, BIM and commissioning.
• Construction systems such as CMiC, Power BI or CxAlloy advantageous.
