Job summary

Hecla Mining Co. seeks an Electrical Supervisor for Lucky Friday mine in Mullan, ID. The role directs routine and emergency electrical maintenance, coordinating with mine operations and other maintenance teams to ensure safe, timely repairs and reliable electrical systems.

The position requires supervising hourly electricians, ensuring compliance with MSHA and company policies, and managing materials, parts, and manpower to support maintenance goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in mining or related industry (3–5 years) or an electrical degree.
• Experience supervising and directing others.
• Journeyman Electrician certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct routine and emergency electrical maintenance.
• Coordinate electrical activities with mine and concentrator operations and other maintenance teams.
• Manage hourly electricians and contractors; ensure safety and compliance with MSHA rules.
• Plan, organize and supervise electrical and instrumentation maintenance operations.
• Ensure reliability and integrity of electrical systems including power distribution and PLCs.
