Job summary

HECLA MINING CO. in Mullan, ID, is seeking an Electrical Planner to join the maintenance team. You will plan, schedule, and coordinate site electrical and process controls work to ensure safe, reliable operation and uptime.

You’ll work closely with maintenance, operations, and reliability teams to optimize performance and limit downtime. Key duties include managing schedules, coordinating shutdowns, administering CMMS (IFS), and generating KPI reports.

Qualifications

• Post high-school degree or Journeyman Certification, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior experience setting up, using, and maintaining computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Experience with IFS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain electrical and process controls schedules (daily to long-term).
• Coordinate shutdowns and outages to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Create and manage CMMS work orders and track documentation/history.
• Manage work order backlog and generate maintenance and cost reports (KPIs).
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs and safety compliance.
