Job summary

Hecla Mining Company is seeking an Electrical Planner to join the maintenance team at the Mullan site. You will plan, schedule, and coordinate electrical and process controls work to keep the plant safe, efficient, and reliable.

You’ll collaborate with maintenance, operations, warehouse, and contractors; administer the CMMS (IFS); generate maintenance and cost reports; and drive continuous improvement, including RCA when issues arise.

Qualifications

• Post high-school degree or Journeyman Certification.
• Experience with CMMS (IFS) and data management.
• Minimum 3 years of planning electrical activities.
• Mining environment experience preferred.
• Proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, monthly, and long-term electrical and process controls schedules.
• Plan shutdowns/outages to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Identify manpower, materials, and timelines for planned work.
• Coordinate contractor and temporary labor activities.
• Administer CMMS (IFS) including work orders, master data, and reporting.
• Maintain records, parts lists, and equipment history.
• Generate maintenance/cost reports and KPIs.
• Support preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
• Lead RCA investigations and implement corrective actions.
