Yellowstone Local is seeking an Electrical Engineer for the Lucky Friday Mine in Mullan, Idaho. You will support maintenance and operations with day-to-day technical and strategic asset management and develop detailed electrical designs, drawings, and calculations.

You will troubleshoot power distribution, instrumentation, and motor control systems, ensuring NEC compliance and safe operation while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams on capital projects through commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or Mechanical) with 2–3 years' experience, or a relevant Trade/Journeyman certificate with 3–5 years' experience.
• Working knowledge of electrical power distribution, instrumentation, motor controls, switchgear, transformers, and electrical infrastructure.
• Ability to perform electrical load calculations, adhere to NEC, and maintain engineering documentation.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day technical and strategic asset management support to maintenance and operations teams.
• Develop drawings, calculations, databases, and technical documentation for electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot power distribution, instrumentation, electrical controls, motors, and related systems.
• Support maintenance of power distribution switchgear, motors, and motor control systems.
• Coordinate with project teams and contractors on capital projects from design through commissioning.
