Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; electrical apprenticeship or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of residential electrical experience, including new construction
  • 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in single-family projects
  • Valid Georgia electrical license required
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
  • Strong knowledge of NEC, local codes, and residential electrical systems
  • Ability to read blueprints and use electrical tools and testing equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and project management skills
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards with a strong commitment to safety and quality
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
  • Must pass drug screening and background check

Responsibilities

  • Provide troubleshooting and technical expertise to resolve complex electrical issues
  • Enforce OSHA and company safety standards; conduct regular safety meetings
  • Manage materials, tools, and equipment; track usage and maintain inventory records
  • Identify skill gaps and support training initiatives for team members
  • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and performance
  • Maintain accurate records including work orders, permits, and invoices

Position Overview

As a Single-Family Electrical Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of residential electrical services in the Kennesaw Georgia area. This role is responsible for leading a team of electricians, coordinating projects, and ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. You will provide technical guidance, manage resources, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of residential electricians to ensure high performance and productivity
  • Project Management: Plan, organize, and oversee residential electrical projects from start to finish, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management

Work Environment
  • Work performed on active residential construction sites and occupied homes
  • Frequent travel to job sites within the designated region
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions including heat, cold, and rain
  • Work may involve heights, ladders, and confined spaces
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for extended periods
  • Comfortable working at heights and on ladders
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
