Job summary

Dematic is seeking experienced Electrical Supervisors to lead our on-site installation team with 100% travel across the United States. The role ensures quality, safety, and timely execution of electrical installation projects on site, coordinating in-house and subcontractor work and providing clear reporting to project managers and customers.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in electrical troubleshooting, a High School Diploma or equivalent, and ability to train contract labor, perform safety

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience troubleshooting electrical equipment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
• Proficiency with PCs, spreadsheets, and weekly status reporting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure installation quality on project sites, including both manufacturing and subcontractor work.
• Complete quality checklists and submit corrective actions when discrepancies are identified.
• Maintain on-site safety, including safety audits and enforcing standards.
• Assist with routine equipment trial runs to verify specifications and installation per Dematic standards.
• Provide on-site reporting on schedule, resources, and project status to project leads and customers.
• Train and support contract labor and subcontractors in installation of equipment.
• Write trip reports according to Dematic procedures.
• Identify and resolve on-site problems and perform physical tasks as needed (lift at least 50 lbs).
• Must have a vehicle, work tools and valid driver's license.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, off-shifts, and overtime as needed.

This role requires 100% travel and can be based anywhere in the US. Will be responsible for ensuring the quality, safety, and timely execution of electrical installation projects on site. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $75,225.00 - $101,775.00 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

What You Will Do in This Role:

• Write clear, concise, and timely trip reports according to Dematic procedures.
• Identify and resolve on-site problems, and perform physical tasks as needed (push, pull, crawl, squat, lift at least 50 lbs.).
• Must have a vehicle, work tools and valid driver's license.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, off-shifts, and overtime as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• 7+ years' experience in troubleshooting electrical equipment.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience.

Preferred Requirements:

• Associates degree.
• Service experience with AGVs, AS/RS, or conveyors.
• Experience in quality assurance and adherence to installation standards.
• Ability to obtain OSHA 30 certification.
• Proficient with personal computers, spreadsheets, and weekly status reporting.
