Job summary

Dematic is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to lead installation quality on customer project sites nationwide. The role requires 10+ years of electromechanical troubleshooting, travel up to 100%, and on-site safety oversight. You will coordinate with project teams to ensure all work aligns with Dematic standards.

Ideal candidates have experience with AGVS/AS/RS or conveyors, OSHA 10, and ability to lift 50 lbs. A high school diploma is required, with an Associate's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years' experience troubleshooting electromechanical equipment.
• Experience with AGVS, AS/RS, or conveyors preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred.
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and travel up to 100%.

Responsibilities

• Ensure installation quality on project sites, including manufacturing and subcontractor quality.
• Maintain quality checklists and submit corrective actions when discrepancies are found.
• Oversee on-site safety including safety audits.
• Assist with equipment trials to meet specifications and Dematic standards.
• Provide on-site reporting on schedule and resources to project manager or customer.
• Train contract labor and subcontractors in installation of equipment.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $42,000 - $95,000 at the time of posting.

Finalcompensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education,experience, knowledge, and skills

What you will do in this role:

• Responsible for installation quality on the project site, including manufacturing and subcontractor quality
• Responsible for quality checklists and submittal of Corrective Actions when discrepancies are identified
• Responsible for on-site safety including but not limited to safety audits
• Assists with routine equipment trial runs to ensure that it meets specifications and assure equipment is installed to Dematic standards
• Provides on-site reporting on schedule and resources to project manager and/or customer
• Provides assistance with training of contract labor and subcontractors in the installation of Dematic and other material handling equipment
• Writes concise, clear, and completes trip reports in the time frame required according to Dematic procedures
• Identifies problems as they occur and suggests appropriate steps to solve them in situations where the problem is not difficult or complex
• Travel on short notice and spend up to 100% of the time traveling; must be willing to be on call and travel accordingly
• Push, pull, crawl, squat and walk around large construction sites in various climates and conditions
• Lift at least 50 lbs.

What we are looking for:

• Ten years (minimum) experience in troubleshooting electromechanical equipment
• Service experience with AGVS, AS/RS, or conveyors is preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required. Associate's Degree preferred.
• Experience with quality assurance
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays and off shifts - offer OT compensation
• Must have knowledge in the use of personal computers, data base functions and communications.
• Understanding personal computer hardware setup and software configuration required.
• Possess a valid driver's license.
