The Electrical Engineer will monitor and optimize plant PCS, troubleshoot electrical systems, and collaborate with process engineers to improve operations.

This full-time role in Illinois requires a Bachelor's degree and 1–3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of electrical engineering experience in the cement or similar industrial facility.
• Experience with PLC programming and process control systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant PCS: programming, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Support PCS use across departments.
• Assist installation of new plant equipment from concept to operation.
• Collaborate with Electrical Supervisors and Process Engineers to optimize operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 1 - 3 Years of Electrical Engineer experience in the cement or similar industrial facility
• Working knowledge of PLC programming and process control systems is preferred (ABB 800xA, Siemens S7)
• Experience in instrumentation, motors, starters and VFD's, communication networks (Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet)
• Extensive knowledge of high and low voltage power distribution systems

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant process control system [PCS], including application programming, testing, commissioning, and maintenance
• Facilitate the use of the PCS as a resource for various departments
• Support installation of new plant equipment from conception to operationWork closely with Electrical Supervisor and Process Engineers to analyze and improve operations
